The Hocktoberfest Legacy Scholarship, held at the WindsorEssex Community Foundation, is officially accepting applications!

The Hocktoberfest Legacy Scholarship Fund was established to provide a yearly scholarship to a female hockey player who is entering post-secondary school or currently enrolled in a post-secondary program and playing in the Hocktoberfest Female Hockey Tournament. This scholarship celebrates and supports the achievements of female hockey players who demonstrate excellence on and off the ice.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a female hockey player participating in the 2025 Hocktoberfest Tournament this October

Must be pursuing post-secondary education at a Canadian institution (college, university, or skilled trades; U.S.-based or private career colleges not eligible)

Demonstrates leadership, community involvement, and a passion for the game

Displays strong academic performance and sportsmanship

Deadline: October 12, 2025
