Access to affordable post-secondary education remains a top priority for residents of Windsor and Essex County, as highlighted in the 2024 Vital Signs® report. Each year, the WECF conducts the Vital Signs® survey to gather community insights on key issues, including education. The ongoing concern about affordability underscores the importance of scholarship opportunities in making higher education more accessible for local students.
For over two decades, the WindsorEssex Community Foundation has been committed to supporting students through annual scholarship grants, helping them achieve their academic and career aspirations. With 16 scholarship funds currently established, the Foundation continues to collaborate with local donors to invest in the future of young people in our community.
