The WECF is proud to serve as the steward of the Great Canadian Flag Project Fund. First envisioned in 2015 by a passionate group of community members and brought to life in 2017, the Great Canadian Flag has become a defining landmark on the Windsor riverfront. This project was made possible through the generosity of local donors, who collectively created this recognizable legacy for our community.
Today, the fund remains committed to its ongoing care and maintenance, ensuring the flag continues to fly high. It stands as a powerful symbol of community pride, unity, and Canadian spirit for generations to come.
