Windsor, ON (November 5, 2024) – On Monday, November 4th, the WindsorEssex Community Foundation (WECF) held its 39th Annual Meeting, celebrating the impactful distribution of $1.2 million to charitable organizations across the Windsor-Essex community, made possible by the generous support of the Foundation’s donors and community partners.
Hosted at the Windsor Club, this year’s meeting recognized the invaluable contributions of the Foundation’s Board Members, staff, and community partners. New fund holders who have joined the WECF over the past year were also announced. Attendees celebrated the recipients of this year’s Community Impact Grants and reflected on the significant community investments made over the past year and a half, marking 40 years of inspiring philanthropy in the Windsor and Essex County community.
