WECF Announces 40th Anniversary Community Investments

At their Annual Meeting on November 15th, 2022, the WECF announced plans for its upcoming 40th Anniversary celebrations. In 2023, the WECF will celebrate 40 years of Inspiring Philanthropy, and is celebrating this milestone by developing collaboration opportunities with our community partners and delivering community betterment legacy projects across our region. The WECF announced 40th Anniversary Community Legacy Investments to support five projects from local charitable organizations:

  • Windsor Symphony Orchestra – Capitol Theatre Digital Wall
  • Essex Region Conservation Foundation – Windsor Essex Community Foundation Community Trail Entrance
  • Bryerswood Youth Camp – Cabin Campaign
  • Essex County Field Naturalists’ Club – WECF 40th Anniversary Commemorative Grove
  • Rotary Club of Windsor 1918 & WindsorEssex Rainbow Alliance – WERA Rainbow Picnic Table Project
