At the WindsorEssex Community Foundation (WECF), we believe in the power of education to transform lives and communities. That’s why we’re excited to share that more than $60,000 in scholarship funding is now available to local students pursuing post-secondary education.
These scholarships are made possible through the incredible generosity of local families, organizations, and individuals who have created dedicated funds to support students in Windsor and Essex County. Their commitment is helping open doors and ease the financial pressures that often come with continuing education.

Access to affordable post-secondary education remains a top priority for residents across Windsor and Essex County. As highlighted in the Foundation’s 2025 Vital Signs® report, affordability continues to be a significant concern for families. Scholarship opportunities like these play an essential role in helping students pursue their dreams without being held back by financial barriers.
For more than 20 years, WECF has proudly supported students through annual scholarship grants, helping them achieve their academic and career goals. With 20 scholarship funds currently established, the Foundation continues to work alongside generous donors who are investing in the future of our community, one student at a time.
