The Play For A Cure Pro-Am hockey tournament is a fundraiser in support of the Cancer Research Collaboration Fund
Play For A Cure is a unique opportunity for hockey fans alike to play alongside and against some of the stars they grew up watching on TV. NHL alumnus attend the draft party, lace up the skates in the change room and make plays on the ice; all along the regular ‘Joes’.
The Pro-Am in support of Cancer Research kicks off with a memorable draft party the Thursday night before the tournament. During the party, each team drafts an NHL alumnus to play on their team; draft positions are based on how much each team can fundraise. Be the team to raise the most money and get the first overall pick of alumni!
The following day teams will skate with their pros in friendly games where teams will be awarded points for wins, fundraising and fair play.
